Harris Gourmet Popcorn is a family-owned business created by Christopher C. Harris, who was born and raised on the West Side of Chicago, IL, but currently resides in the Dallas, TX area. As a kid growing up on the West Side of Chicago, popcorn was his favorite snack. At age 12, he had the opportunity to work at a neighborhood popcorn shop off Madison Street, where he learned to make popcorn. It was not until 40 years later, when he was inspired by his daughter Cameron and wife Tabitha Harris, who started Cameron's Lemonade Stand at age 5, that he started Harris Popcorn. Now Harris Popcorn is looking to expand to become a household name, with products in local stores across the nation.
